Worship Philosophy

Worship is not just something we do on Sunday mornings.

We believe that worship is actually something that we live out daily through our love and devotion to the Lord by our trust, obedience and deference to Him in everything we do. Sunday morning worship, then, is simply a culmination and celebration of our lifestyle of worship. In our Sunday morning worship and praise time, you will find the selection of songs well thought out and prayed over, with words that extrapolate deep heart-felt expression of adoration and glory for God that exalts and lifts Him up.

We believe that when we worship individually or corporately, we are fulfilling our highest calling from the Lord. Jesus said that the hour was coming, and now is, that true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, and that the Father seeks such to worship Him. Our worship is to be always done in faith, from our hearts, and done with sincerity and in reality – not just some form where we go through the motions of a religious ritual. Worship should be exciting, full of heart and emotion, and even demonstrative, as well as sometimes subdued and soft, and even quiet. It is to be Holy Spirit-led and directed. This is what we seek to do in our individual and corporate times of worship.
